WARDOGS Beginner Guide
A first-match route built only from confirmed systems, without invented meta claims.
Direct answer
What players need to know
In your first WARDOGS match, follow the active Control Zone, stay near teammates, spend the $10,000 starting budget on a coherent loadout, and use revives, transport, and objective play to rebuild cash between lives.
- Starting cash
- $10,000
- Victory target
- First team to 100 points
- Team count
- 3
- Battle size
- Up to 100 players
Plan the first spawn
Start with a loadout that has one clear job rather than spending across unrelated tools. Move with teammates toward the active Control Zone and use nearby transport when it helps the squad arrive together.
The official material confirms the economic and objective systems but does not establish a permanent best weapon. Treat exact loadout rankings as patch-sensitive.
Earn the next loadout
WARDOGS awards cash for useful team actions including reviving, transporting players, and controlling objectives. The Hot Zone doubles cash, but its added value also makes it a contested place.
Cash persists between matches, so survival and support can matter beyond a single firefight. Reassess your next purchase based on the objective, distance, and what your team lacks.
Play for the scoring condition
The team with the most players inside the Control Zone earns points, and the first team to 100 wins. A high elimination count does not replace objective presence.
Because zones are randomized within larger maps, learn routes and transport choices instead of memorizing one fixed sequence.
